Crystal Spraggins, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is an HR professional and freelance writer born, bred, and living in Philadelphia, PA. Crystal attended the Philadelphia High School for Girls and earned a BA in English Literature from the University of Pennsylvania.
Crystal has more than 15 years of experience as an HR generalist helping small- to mid-sized companies develop policies, programs, and procedures that increase profits, maximize efficiency, and enhance positive employee relations. Crystal is a frequent contributor to various workplace-related websites and maintains a personal blog, HR BlogVocate.
Rachael Barrett has more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, working with domestic and international organizations, in the areas of health and mental health, healthcare delivery, community development, legal services, criminal justice, and advocacy. Throughout her career, she has been committed to working with entrepreneurial organizations focused on systemic change through education and advocacy.
Creative and strategic, Rachael is familiar with philanthropic trends, program evaluation and data analysis. In addition to her consultancy, Rachael has also worked at nonprofits in New York City as fundraising staff, including senior-level positions with the International Rescue Committee’s Women’s Refugee Commission and Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York. Rachael is currently affiliated with Orr Associates, Inc. as a Senior Consultant, and is working with several clients across the east coast.
